Finastat internal and external antistatic additives are recommended for use in various polymers like polyethylene, polypropylene (BOPP), ABS, PVC, PET etc. to reduce static charge build-up on plastic surfaces during processing and handling. Further, special combinations of the Finastat antistats result in synergistic functional properties.In addition to the antistatic property, they also provide benefits such as easy mould release and prolonged new-look of the moulded products through decreased dust pick-up.
BOPP application demands a special slip and antistat combination to ensure adequate & effective surface migration in order to achieve desired CoF & antistatic properties.
